The location next to the Centennial Trail is phenomenal. The trail takes you to the Arena, downtown, Riverfront Park, all within a 20 minute walk. We stay there BECAUSE of the location. The great hotel is a bonus.

Positives:
This hotel was perfectly situated in the area we wanted to be near downtown Spokane and near the Spokane Arena for a concert we attended. Highly recommend this hotel. Room was super clean. Overall a good experience.
Negatives:
It was very noisy outside her room both at night and in the morning – soundproofing could be better to quiet the sounds of other guests (this hotel was full of families coming a youth basketball tournament during our stay) as well as maid staff being quieter in the morning.

Positives:
We love the location and have stayed here before. The view of the river and/or the view of Riverfront Park are wonderful. Bed was comfy! We were only there this time for one night so I can't comment on things we didn't experience.
Negatives:
The room and hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was dark and not well lit. We had a view of the parking lot. I would recommend the hotel based on our previous stays, but not this one. The room was unimpressive.

Friendly front desk and staff. DIDNT LIKE continued Building 6 and room was frankly embarrassing since I had hyped up the hotel to my business associate guest I brought along. Wing should only house high school kids bussed in. A huge disappointment.
Negatives:
Have stayed here many times in past years in stellar rooms. This room was in Bldg 6, oldest wing, worn, dark and definitely dingy. NOT the hotel I know and thought I reserved. No fan in bathroom was bad. Did inform staff.

Positives:
Excellent hotel with an amazing staff. Very nice recently redone rooms. Location was our major choice as we could walk out the back into Gonzalo University to see the ballet at the theater. Less than 150 yards away. Seeing all the cars looking for parking as we walked by was confirmation we choose well.
Had a wonderful dinner there before the show and drinks afterwards. We will be back!
Negatives:
Resturant was a little slow on service but it was a bit packed that night.. Food was nice and hot though.

Positives:
The location between Division and downtown, the view of the river and the hot tub outside in the snow, were pluses for us.
Negatives:
The walls, especially the door to the room next door and the door to the hallway seemed very thin. A coughing child next door in the evening, and excessive hallway noise (partying people going between rooms) in the night interrupted sleep.
Positives:
It was simple and what we needed for the night.
Negatives:
How noisy it was but nothing the hotel could really do. Just had a few noisy neighbors.
