Positives:
Convenience of being right off I90. Room was on a corner or beginning of part of the hall (hard to describe) so no room next to me on one side and the the other side the room was a bit down the way. Room was by the elevator and stairs to the parking lot or lobby, convenient! Denny's was right next door, but verify hours as they didn't appear to be 24. Room itself was spacious for 1. Had a flat screen tv, small fridge and microwave, small coffee maker, desk and chair, a sitting chair, hangers, 2 drawers for clothes, efficient lighting and plugs ins, hair dryer. Couldn't hear the I90 traffic. Hotel not only close to Denny's it's also walking distance to a few fast food places. Very short drive to a grocery store, dollar tree, gas stations, car wash.
Staff was nice. Checking in and out was smooth.
I'd give more of a 6.5 rating.
Negatives:
Breakfast! Says they offer breakfast, what a joke. Not that I'm a big morning eater but if I had kids they would've gone hungry, just sayin'. Room curtains didn't over lap, had to use hair clip to get them to overlap even though the room was on the 3rd floor there is another hotel straight across. Not that it was a big deal but when I checked in was told since I'm local I'd get room cleaning daily, I guess if you aren't local you get room cleaning every 3 days??. Didn't really make sense to me. The pictures of the room on booking.com doesn't match the actual room or layout which is here nor there. I originally was only staying 2 nights but ended up reserving 2 more nights, and was charged differently by booking.com. My last 2 nights was $15ish less - liked that price better of course.

the room was clean, the bed confortable, the pillow was fine and the equipment was fine.
Negatives:
The washroom don't have bath, the curtain are so short and the water coming all out during the shower.

Positives:
The breakfast was fine - multiple options. We had forgotten daylight savings and almost missed breakfast, but the staff kindly offered to supply what we wanted. All the staff were genial and thoughtful. The room smelled oddly, but after a few minutes, you got used to it. Nice arrangement in the room, all amenities were there. The bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
We took a pet. The web site said nothing about an extra charge, or that the pet could not stay alone in the room ever, so that created problems for our entire stay. If we had known, we would have stayed elsewhere. The chair for the desk area sunk too low to be useful as a desk, though the chair was very comfortable for other purposes. It would have been nice to have a waste basket in the bathroom and some surface to lay a change of clothes on, but everything was very clean.

The continental breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. We didn't even end up eating there cause there was nothing worth eating. When we buy a room for our family with continental breakfast we expect to be able to feed them there.

Awesome staff team, friendly and on point. Not requiring me to pay almost double in accidental deposits gives me more funds to use in other places.
The wifi was simple but very strong. The rooms are nice as well are the bathrooms but the hair dryer didn't work at all and I didn't have time to go grab another so air dry it was.
All in all they get a very healthy hotel experience for their money at the Spokane Valley Super 8.
