Negatives: When pulling up to the hotel the parking lot is full of construction equipment. When you walk into the hotel the entire hotel is under construction and tore apart. The construction crews arrive early in the morning and begin working.

Positives: Front desk staff was great! We have seen her a couple times during our trips to Yakima.

Negatives: Remolding taking place and not knowing when stay was booked. No discounts during the stay with the materials in the front areas but understandable, its easy access for the remodel and easily visible by staff to deter theft.

Positives: The continental breakfast was generally good although the potatoes the second morning seemed to be reheated (there is a particular taste of cold rewarmed food).

Negatives: I ewas hard to find. My GPS would not accept the street name. Even when we were given nearby addresses, we had trouble. The site was being refurbished and this did cause the parking lot to be significantly smaller than it should have been.

Positives: The staff here was very nice and accommodating. We were so in a newly renovated room which was beautiful and comfortable. Walking distance to Target and a few restaurants.

Negatives: We made a point to get a hotel with an indoor pool for my son. Unfortunately the pool was FREEZING. it was about 60 degrees outside and the windows in the poolroom were open and the pool was non-heated :/ despite confirming before arrival that it was heated. Luckily my son was pretty content with the jacuzzi. The pool was also clearly dirty :/ you could visibly see dirt on Feb bottom of the pool all over. Was a bit disappointed that our room didnt have the pullout sofa couch that it was advertised with. My mom, son and I shared the king sized bed so it worked out but I did expect to be able to pull out a bed of my own because that was the room I booked and paid for.
