The motel was mostly empty. We were placed in a room all the way at the end out the hall right beside the laundry room. At the crack of dawn, the loud sound of rumbling industrial washers woke us. I could understand placing us here if the motel was mostly sold out, but there was hardly anyone there.

restaurant was fine...everyting else was old and dingy...not a 3 star hotel as it is posted.

We were in a secondary building away from the main building and restaurant. Were were placed to the building door openinng and was extremely loud all night long as people went to their rooms. Bathrooms were ridiculouse small and you couldn't close the bathroom door while sitting on the toilet.

It’s a decent hotel with a restaurant right there.

The location and the front desk staff was friendly.
Negatives:
The room we stayed in needed maintenance. The bathroom faucet leaked and the shower made a loud screeching sound each time you used it. The heater made a loud clanging sounds throughout the night which made it difficult to get any rest.
Rugs in main hallway were stained and doors to rooms needed a thorough cleaning throughout the corridor.

We loved the Harper’s Ferry area and if we return we will opt for other accommodations.

The Clarion is basic but perfect for a bike trip. Love that the restaurant lounge is on premises. Our 8th yr of staying there and will continue .
