The location is the only thing good about this property, and the fact that the prices are usually reasonable around game days.
Negatives:
The first time I stayed here they had issues with the fire alarm going off. It went off at 2 AM and 3 AM and not one single staff member came outside to tell anyone what was going on. This past Saturday we stayed at the hotel again trying to give it a second chance, and the fire alarm went off not 15 minutes after we arrived again in the middle of the day. I was amazed that it did not go off again at 2 AM in our sleep. I think this hotel has given me trauma and this is part of the reason I did not sleep was because of the miserable experience since the first time I stayed here. In addition, the staff looks miserable and unhappy. They are not friendly, don’t smile, and the rooms are not great. My room failed to have a hairdryer (but had the sharp screws sticking out of the wall where it was supposed to be which is safety hazard), there was old spilled coffee on the wall, and the door handle was broken to the bathroom. It’s not a large hotel, so I do not know why management is not going through the rooms and checking on these things. Unfortunately this hotel is falling apart.
