Negatives: Front desk staff (Tom) was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. To start the trip we arrived to the hotel and he told us that he didn’t have the virtual payment card from booking.com and that we still owed money for our room. Then after we said that we paid he claimed he could see it but he still didn’t have the virtual card and that because booking.com and the hotel aren’t the same entity it’s “not his problem” and the only way he was checking us in was if we paid again and got a refund from booking. We told him we were leaving then and not paying twice. At this point he says he’ll try to call the number for booking. It was an automated response and there was allegedly a 45 minute wait until he was next to talk to someone. He claimed he needed a credit card for $50 for incidentals and that he would just check us in while we wait. Standing at the desk we check the bank app to show him receipt, and see he infact charged us $136 after we told him NOT to. He says “it’s just a hold not a charge, and when he gets the booking virtual card he will release the funds back within an hour to us and they will be back on the card immediately”. We get to our room and open the door and it immediately smells like mold & piss. The sheets appeared clean but that’s about it. Bathroom was gross at best. Fast forward to the next morning on checkout day, imagine that the funds have not been released yet even though I got an email stating the call had taken place. Go to the front desk to checkout and Tom is there again and claims yet again the funds will now be released when he checks us out of our room. At this point we ask for his name and the number for corporate because he’s been nothing but rude when talking to us. He lies and says there is no corporate number and he doesn’t have a business card all he has is a name and points to his name tag. Don’t worry Tom one quick google search showed there is a corporate number.

Negatives: My booking said I had a 2 bed room poolside. They put 3 of is on a one bed room with a couch and kitchen (which we didn't request or need) on the second floor nowhere near the pool. Drain in bathroom sink didn't work or drain water. When we checked out and asked for a receipt we were told she couldn't give us one because we booked through a third party.

Negatives: Room had a terrible smell. Outdated furniture, towel bar fell off of wall when used. Shower was dingy and outdated. However, there was good water pressure in the shower. Not worth the money paid.
