I would stay again, but...
Negatives:
The room had nowhere for me to hang my hanging clothes, nor an iron or ironing board. It appeared my room was being renovated and wasnt finished. It shouldnt have been rented out.

My husband and I highly recommend AmericInn by Wyndham. The staff is awesome, helpful and courteous. The facility is clean, breakfast delicious, service wonderful. It has a beautiful pool area one for adults, one for the kiddos and a hot tub. We also enjoyed the Lounge room. A neat place to meet guests, play pool and enjoy a drink. Our room was fantastic, and comfortable including the balcony facing the woods. We found it to be a great get away peaceful and quiet. It is family and pet friendly. A great place to stay!

Everything was great from location near restaurants and downtown area, our rooms were clean beds were comfy and overall employees nice and friendly.

The hotel was really nice.......
Positives:
We were suppose to have passes for Chula Vista and were never given any. We were offered Mt Olympus but they're closed for the season. We paid an extra $60.00 and recieved nothing. Also, the breakfast was empty before 9am. So not okay

No early check-in.
Was unable to use gym due to renovation materials.
But I think that when they are finished with updates the hotel will be better.

The forest view room was great in the winter and would definitely be better when the trees are full, and with the colors of fall.

The room felt a bit sparse but the hotel was under construction so would assume there would be more when it's fully complete.
