Positives: Nice, comfortable clean room with front door opening out onto broad courtyard I enjoyed the Virginian Lounge and the live music. I also liked the rustic lobby with fresh coffee

Negatives: No restaurant in hotel for breakfast. Nearby affiliated restaurant had no room. People lined up outside waiting for table. I was then directed to a nearby burrito place. Hotel tacked on a $50 charge which they said would go off. They never removed it.

Positives: A dream stay in Jackson. The Virginian lodge is reminiscent of old school road trip days glorified in American movies with modern amenities. Cozy, comfortable, quiet, clean and thoughtful in every element. The staff was exceptional and attentive, the rooms were spotless, the beds were **so** comfortable and no detail was looked over from the water kettle in the room to the beach balls in the pool.

Negatives: When first checking in male was rude and acted like he didnt like his job. We wanted to check in early and he was abrupt but when the room was ready early he was friendly.

Positives: Pool area is really nice. Also parking is easy.

Negatives: My room was very dark. There was a smell in my room - maybe a whiff of stale cigarettes that the remodel couldnt conceal. Also about half the staff was incredible (Jim!! Loved him) but most of them were quite rude. Also very expensive.
