The location was just about perfect and was centrally located in the town.
Negatives:
Mold/mildew/musty smell permeated the room.
Positives:
For whatever reason, I was not expecting a drive-up style motel when I arrived and muttered an "oh brother" even though I knew it was rated well, but they hit it out of the park. The room was thoughtful (and even smelled good) and the staff were great.
Negatives:
My room was off a small hallway where they left the door open to the outside. I was dive-bombed by a hornet that proceeded to crawl my room door for a while, preventing this coward from entering. Stuff like this is why I avoid exterior room entrances.
