South Portland, Maine - March 28, 2011 - TripsWithPets is very happy to announce the launch of their new and improved website, http://www.tripswithpets.com. The new site was redesigned to better assist pet travelers (and their humans) by adding more features and revealing a fresh look and more intuitive navigation to easily find the information they need to plan a trip.
The website's primary goal has always been to help pet parents find pet friendly hotels & lodging in the United States when they're away from home. Now, TripsWithPets has expanded their reach by including their neighbors to the north. That's right, TripsWithPets now includes pet friendly accommodations in Canada!
Another much requested feature is the Search by Route. This allows pet travelers to search for pet friendly lodging along their travel route. Simply enter the departure and destination cities and a list of all the pet friendly hotels (and other pet friendly properties) within a 3 or 5 mile radius of the route are returned, as well as printable directions.
Other exciting new features include:
- The ability to search pet friendly properties by hotel chain to accommodate specific preferences of where to stay.
- A complete overview of each pet friendly property on the site, including descriptions, pet policies & amenities, maps, and photos.
- The ability to leave a review about a property or a product from the TWP Store so other site visitors can make more informed decisions prior to booking a stay or purchasing a product.
TripsWithPets has also beefed up the mainstays of the website. The TWP Store is equipped with even more travel accessories like crates and kennels, pet car seats and seat belts, and travel gear bags. Another popular section of the website, the airline pet policies, has more airlines to choose from and includes pertinent information about each airline's regulations, as well as direct navigation to that airline's pet information page.
