In Cabin/Carry-On Pet Fee:  $100 per segment

Maximum Weight Allowed:  The total weight of the animals and kennel cannot be above 20 pounds.

Cargo Area/Checked Baggage Pet Fee:  Virgin America does not allow pets checked as baggage.

Pet Carrier Guidelines:  Virgin Airlines was acquired by AlaskaAir, and all inquiries and bookings should be directed to them. AlaskaAir pet policies will preside for all pets flying with Virgin America.  Pets traveling in cabin/carry-on must be transported in pet travel carriers that allow pet to stand up, turn around and lie down comfortably.  Carriers must be ventilated on at least two sides, plus the door.  Pet travel carriers may not exeed the dimensions of 18" L x 15" W x 8" H and must fit under the seat in front of you. Pets must remain in the carrier at all times.
