Horrible staff and front desk

Ricardo the front desk clerk was the only positive thing about this stay. He was friendly and had great customer service skills.
Negatives:
Hotel was dirty with bugs. Upon check in, we were told by the manager that there were many upgrades and rennovations. There were bugs and appliances were not working. Maintenance was called many times and we eventually had to be switched to a different room. Hotel stay was supposed to be for two nights, but we left early and move to a better hotel. Under the circumstances, hotel agreed to not charge for the second night after we contacted booking.com to complain. Hotel staff was accommodating except for the manager. I dont recommend staying here ever!

Absolutely terrible!!
Positives:
Both staff was super friendly and outstanding service. We got to stay right in front of the pool which was perfect for our family of four. The pool was 80 degrees, room was nice and clean and updated.
Negatives:
The toilet seat is way too close to the shower and sink. The shower door would open slightly and hit the toilet seat. The shower was scary no lights and dark.
