The only good thing about Sofitel is location.
Negatives:
Definitely NOT a 5-star hotel. 2-star. The room was very dirty, dusty, and bedding was not made. Full of dust on the phone. The bed sheet was not new. No air circulation, very dark, no sunlight. A lamp shade at a 5-star hotel has a hole? Horrible.

Definitely not a 5-star hotel! Bed was so soft you sink in it, impossible to sleep. Room furniture shows age and use. Restaurant food mediocre, don't have a handle on dining reservations. They didn't email the invoice, now I have to write to a mailbox.

We went for the Cherry Blossom opening festival at Warner and extended our stay because my sister was in town. I had stayed at this hotel for NYE and really enjoyed it but this time everything from front desk to the room was a big disappointment

Fantastic location. Included breakfast was very nice. Room was comfortable and attractive. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Negatives:
Rooms show some wear and tear. Stained wallpaper, torn bedding, etc. One elevator out of service.
